THE MONASTERY OF THE NUNS
“Oasi Madre della pace” is an religious hotel structure with a breathtaking view equipped with everything you need for a cozy stay in the beautiful “Sorrento”. If you wish, you can experience traditional agricultural activities such as harvest of lemons, oranges, grapes and vegetables (depending on the season) and learn the secrets of the Sorrento cuisine in one of our cooking workshop where delicious traditional Sorrento recipes are prepared.
You are also welcomed to participate in the contemplative and prayer activities of the Franciscan daily life, where the nuns and often even monks and priests celebrate Holy Mass, morning praises and at the end of the day vespers.

You will be staying in comfortable suite rooms furnished with modern taste and loving care. The style is typical of the Sorrento / Amalfi coast.
You will be welcomed directly by the nuns (who speakEnglish or Italian).
The administrative check-in procedures are performed with professionalism constantly by the reception service who will be happy to provide you with all the information you need.
To avoid waste and especially pollution, the monastery has been equipped with energy efficiency solutions such as solar panels.
To ensure maximum confidentiality, safety and peace, access to the monastery is only possible for our guests, who will be given personal codes for opening the gates, doors and parking spaces.

The order distinguished themselves by emphasizing the formation and education of the youth, especially of young women. Here in Priora di Sorrento they continue their vocational activity by giving continuous training and being an example of humility for women and families.
